The Cottage is not a suite or a room but a full home located one block from the lake
with a view facing the mountains through floor to ceiling windows.
It is convenient to everything from Medical care, Shopping and entertainment without
ever leaving a paved road or driving up and down mountains on unpaved roads into the
wilderness with steep grades etc., in the rain or fog.
Your home affords you privacy or you can be part of the family and change your mind
daily. You have a private separate entrance, wrap around deck, and paved parking. It is
cozy, clean and comfortable with ambient lighting, fire place, ceiling fans and individually
controlled air conditioning. The kitchen is full sized and depending on your needs you
can rent it as a one couple or two couple facility.

Your privacy. We give you your own home in the mountains without all the fuss and cost
of time shares, rentals and ownership. NO taxes, Fees, Upkeep, Just fun....

video tapes and access to the Captain's lounge are available.
Special Touches tm our exclusive guest pamper program arranges the pampering of your
choice from morning wake ups with a warm scented cloth, newspaper and a glass of
freshly squeezed orange juice before you enjoy a breakfast by limousine or by Chef on
Call.
If requested by you Chef on Call will provides gourmet breakfasts such as soufflés,
Stuffed French Toast, Fritatas, quiches, remarkable pancakes, Belgian Waffles, Eggs,
Omelets with a variety of fillings, Real Grits and a variety of breakfast meats and fruits
for your enjoyment. Other meals are available at your request.
For lighter tastes, A cereal of the day or flavored yogurt, toast or biscuits with honey or
with European sweet butter, home made jams and Gevalia Coffee tm or a specialty tea or
breakfast tea from our tea chest, fresh fruit or a tropical fruit cup and more each morning
at a time you select as there are no preset breakfast hours for Special Touches tm
guests. You are here to relax as well as enjoy the mountain offerings you have selected.
Other Special Touches tm program offerings include our concierge services to take the
drudgery out of your time with us by catering to your needs with house stocking, house
freshening, our pillow program that gives you FREE new pillows, so you know who has
been sleeping on your pillow are yours to enjoy and take home with you.
It's also nice to know that your blankets have been washed and your comforter has been
washed so that you have clean scented sheets, clean blankets and comforter and new
pillows.
Nightly turn downs include lavender or rosemary bed scenting and a special nightly
treat for you to enjoy. Special Touches tm also includes fresh flowers, a welcome
home basket and concierge services which provide you with area information, spa
services at several of the best locations in this area, reservations for dinner, theater,
limousine service, cruises, motor tours, Chef on Call, available discounts and more.
There is a canoe, bicycles, games, music and a library available for your use
Gourmet kits and entertainment kits if you decide to entertain or prepare elegant
meals of your own are available at a nominal fee.
Your location is an enviable two hours from Asheville, Atlanta, Chattanooga, the
Smoky Mountains and many locations in between with offerings for sight seeing
shopping, junqtiquing and more. You are on the Southern High Roads Trail.
Golf is as close as across the street and other courses are within 15 to 20 minutes
away. Fishing is as close as a block away and hiking on the Appalachian trail is less
than 30 minutes away. We are close to water falls, the highest mountain in Georgia,
excellent walking and hiking paths for all abilities, the lake and much more.
A variety of things to do in the area on the lake and on land including the John C.
Campbell folk School, The Georgia Mountain fair Grounds, Romantic Lake Cruises,
and good country food and music from blue grass to plain old country are available.
Explore, Relax, Play golf, Fish, Enjoy gourmet food and fine dining or Amateur Theater.
Bargain hunt, Junqtique, take a cruise on the love boat or a motor tour with Magical
Mountain Motor Tours to see water falls, mountains and more without having to do
anything but sit back and enjoy each other. Better yet just do nothing but sit on your
rocker with a good book or watch the sunset from the water or one of our special spots.
There is a limousine and a luxury car available and if you are adventurous we will
transport you by pickup truck to white water, good enough for the Olympics in 2006 and
rapids for beginners to expert. Hike the Appalachian Trail, or a mountain. Have lunch at the
highest point in Georgia and more with assistance from our Concierge service as part of
our Special Touches tm program.
We know from experience where to go and what to do when you get there in three states.
We know the best restaurants, golf courses, fishin and swimmin holes and more. We can
also arrange self guided tours for you to take on your own.
If you really want to cook your kitchen is equipped so that you have all the essentials
to prepare your meal including a full compliment of flatware, dishes, glasses and table
linen. There are full size appliances and a bean grinding coffee pot and microwave.
We also have available entertainment and gourmet kits to upgrade and enhance your
cooking capabilities or just be lazy and have Chef On Call create a delicious breakfast or
other meal then serve it to you on your deck, your dining room or have your breakfast in
